The next layer of WE
We rented the ride. Now we build it.
Whip Equipped started by helping people access, operate and rent vehicles built by somebody else. Now WE is expanding upstream: our own connected urban motorcycle platform, designed around proven mechanical systems and the network we already built.
Marketplace → machine
Own more of the mobility stack.
The rental network is not going away. The apps are not going away. The operator model is not going away. The expansion is simple: instead of forcing WE around somebody else’s vehicle, we can design the vehicle around WE.
Use proven engines, EFI, brakes, suspension, controls and service parts instead of paying to reinvent expensive failure points.
Put WE differentiation into bodywork, lighting, ergonomics, interface, connected systems and the ownership experience.
Development sequence
Prototype → production.
We are deliberately separating mechanical proof from styling. Tap a phase to see what has to be true before the next one begins.
Prove the engine, frame, brakes, suspension, electrical headroom and serviceability with catalog components before spending on production bodywork.
One connected system
Vehicle meets software.
The point is not just to put a WE badge on a motorcycle. The physical platform becomes another node in the rider, driver, rental and fleet system.
Purpose-built physical platform for urban mobility, rental and delivery duty.
Location, vehicle health, fleet events and service visibility designed into the electrical architecture.
Rider, Driver and Rentals become the control surface around the machine.
The original marketplace remains the distribution layer for WE and third-party vehicles.
Engineering + production
Build with people who build vehicles.
Development collaboration
WE × Oreion MotorsWE is working with Oreion Motors on vehicle architecture, prototype planning, component sourcing and a production path built around mature off-the-shelf systems before proprietary styling and connected features are locked.
U.S. assembly
Site selection is active.WE is evaluating manufacturing communities for a lean first assembly operation with workforce and expansion capacity.
Where WE started: Rider, Driver + RentalsTUCKED IN ↓
WE began as a mobility network built around vehicles we did not manufacture. That product family remains part of the ecosystem; the motorcycle program expands it rather than replacing it.
Development targets are planning goals, not final certified specifications. Production configuration, manufacturer-of-record structure, supplier BOM, EPA/NHTSA compliance path and final performance remain subject to engineering and regulatory validation.
